Logo Criteria

The logo should convey the compelling love of Christ in the gospel via three themes: 1) the Manger, 2) the Magi, and 3) the Majesty.

Award

The jury’s winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of $300. Only one logo will be chosen from all eligible entries.

Design Guidelines

  • Original artwork only. (Multiple entries may be submitted by a single person.)
  • Submissions must include a usable print-quality electronic version of the logo.
  • The logo will be used to promote the 2010 PCPC Arts Festival season events and should evoke its three themes.
  • The logo must reflect the truth of the gospel.
  • The logo must adapt well to electronic and print media, to reproduction at various sizes, and to use in color or in grayscale.
  • If the logo incorporates non-standard fonts, you must be able to provide us with the font should your logo be selected.

Process & Legal Guidelines

  • Acknowledgment of the winning entry will be provided on the Arts Festival website at www.pcpcartsfestival.org.
  • PCPC reserves the right to select no winning entry if it deems that the submissions do not meet the needs of the organization.
  • If the logo is selected, the contributor must assign all rights to the selected images to PCPC, to be used as PCPC desires.
  • Logo must be free of any copyright or any other intellectual property claims.
  • Logo must not incorporate or extend existing trademarks of other companies.

How to Enter

Please attach logo entries to an e-mail to pcpcartsfestival@pcpc.org. Please include artist’s name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address in the e-mail text. Acceptable formats are .pdf, .jpg, or .jpeg, .ai (Adobe Illustrator). Files formatted in .pdf (if created with a scanner, camera, or Adobe Photoshop), .jpgs, and .jpegs must have a minimum size of 1 MB. There is no minimum file size for vector-based .ai files or .pdfs created in Adobe Illustrator. It is important to have high-quality scans (with a large number of DPI) when using images. A poor quality scan or digital image may interfere with the accurate portrayal of your logo in judging. We strongly suggest you produce a high-quality image for the purpose of judging, as the entries will not be seen in person.
